FAQs
faq

Are there speed restrictions in the Channel?
Yes. A no-wake speed zone is enforced in the area between the southern tip of Harbour Island and Platt Street bridge.

Tell me about water depth in these channels around the convention center:
The Seddon channel is 12ft. Ybor turning basin is only 7ft deep. Sparkman, Ybor and ship channel is 34ft in depth. Please note only small boats can pass around the North end of Davis Islands. Two fixed bridges connect the N end of the islands with Tampa to the W; minimum clearance is 9 feet

Where can I boat/demo?
You can increase your speeds in the Hillsborough Bay. The entrance and all other navigable waters of Tampa Bay, Hillsborough Bay, Old Tampa Bay, and tributaries herein are within a regulated navigation area.

Coming soon!

Can there be alcohol on the docks?
Only alcoholic beverages purchased from TCC, The Sail or in Riverwalk logoed cups permitted on Docks.

Can I play music on my boat?
Yes, however we ask you keep your immediate neighbors in mind. Noise generated from engines, generators, radios, TVs, etc must be kept at a minimum according to the Marina policies so not to create a nuisance.

Can I have signs?
Yes, but they MUST be ON your vessel. Signage on the docks themselves is not permitted. For sale signs are not permitted.

Do I need a waiver?
Yes. Please be prepared with a waiver for attendees to sign prior to boarding your boat. Please make sure you have proper insurance coverage as well.
