The 10x10 Series: Who, What, When, Where, and Why

We wanted to take advantage of the fact that Dealer Week is a place where everyone gets together. So we created the 10x10 Series that consist of short 10-minute TED-like talks from thought leaders both within and outside of the marine industry.

If you'd rather watch than read, you can catch our Vice President Liz Walz do a grand job of introducing everyone here.

Who: Bill Yeargin, What: "Results Through Learning"

Who: Phil Smoker, Smoker Craft & Star Craft, What: "Cracking the Affordability Code"

Who: Dr. Thom Dammerich, What: "Boat Prices and the Internet"

When: Monday, 9:00 a.m. Where: Ballroom A-C as part of the Opening Ceremony

Who: Cecil Cohn, Brunswick Boater Services What: "Creating More Boaters Dealership"

When: Monday, 3:45 p.m. Where: The Dealership Pathway

Who: Customer Sean Horsfall, Len's Cove Marina What: "Teaching and Selling"

When: Monday, 3:45 p.m. Where: The Customer Pathway

Who: Wendy Mackie, RIMTA, What: "Recruiting for Tomorrow"

When: Monday, 3:45 p.m. Where: The Employee Pathway

*These three 10x10s take place immediately before the Dealer Case Studies. Feel free to attend one of these three 10x10 sessions, but mix and match the Dealer Case Study that follows. For example, if you'd like to see Sean Horsfall in the Employee Pathway room, but plan to attend the Dealer Case study in The Customer Pathway room, you are free to do so!

Who: Bruce Van Wagoner, Wells Fargo Distribution Finance What: "Are you prepared for change?"

When: Tuesday, 11:30 a.m. Where: Ballroom A-C as part of the MRAA Awards Luncheon

Why: Perhaps the most important of all of these. Why a 10x10 Series? We hear from dealers that they often come to the MRAA's Conference every year as a refresh and to hear what's happening in the world around them. They come for best practices and "need to knows." This series is a perfect opportunity to get knowledge on topics that effect you in your dealership everyday.
